Nowadays most of us know the health benefits of drinking more water per day.It keeps us hydrated and supplies the essential minerals required for our body.But then drinking plain water will obviously be boring and we easily get sick of having it again.

So then came the DETOX WATER which is actually nothing but the healthy foods(mainly fruits and veggies) tossed in to them.Detox water's main function is to detoxify or in other words it cleanses our body and removes all the toxins.So yes eat tasty and lose weight at the same time!!.

Here I have listed some recipes that are easy and simple to make and I usually have one every day in empty stomach;it made miracles...


Classic lemon detox water


It is my all time favorite I have them at-least twice a week.It is super easy and very refreshing in the morning.I feel energized and refreshed through out the day.

HEALTH TIP: Lemons have high citric acid content.Hence it is good to dilute it in the ratio of 1:2(1 lemon:2 liters of water) as the acid might cause ruptures in your esophagus and stomach lining(which have high chances of turning in to a stomach sore).

Recipe:

1-lemon
2-3 glasses of water
some mint leaves
Soda(optional)
honey(optional)


Lemon Lime detox water

As you already know ginger is that one element that gives you the perfect  figure.This detox water gives you the desirable results faster at the same time with a great taste.
They not only helps in slimming down but also  provides vitamin c and helps to balance metabolic rate.

Recipe:

1 lemon thinly sliced
1 lime
thinly sliced ginger
A glass of water

Watermelon wash Detox water

It is best to have it in summer.It chills out your body.Watermelon have lots of health benefits like they help in lowering the blood pressure rate and improves the insulin response.

Recipe:

6-7 pieces of watermelon
4-5 pieces of cucumber
A glass of water


Blueberry twist detox water

Blueberries have very great taste at the same time it is a great antioxidant.They are low in calories and high in nutrients.They can lower the blood pressure and protects from DNA damage,cancer and cholesterol in the blood.

Recipe:

1 cup blueberries
1 thinly sliced lemons
A glass of water

Strawberry  basil detox water


Strawberries are rich in antioxidants.The taste will be balanced and it boosts your energy level instantly.My twist in this recipe is adding some lemon juices,the tart of lemon balances with the sweet taste of the strawberries.

Recipe:

5-6 strawberries (chopped)
basil leaves(handful)
2 spoons of Lemon juice (optional)

Raspberry lime detox water


Red raspberries have high antioxidant properties and vitamin C content.The gallic acid content in them helps to fight cancer and heart related diseases(such as circulatory disease).They also have anti-inflammatory property.

Recipe:

6-8 raspberries
1 lime sliced
A glass of water





Citrus detox water

Orange has high vitamin C content and it prevents skin damage.They make our immune system healthy and it also lowers the risk of cancer.It helps in maintaining the blood pressure level and lowers the cholestrol.It also controls the blood sugar level

Recipe:

1 orange thinly sliced
1 lemon thinly sliced
A glass of water
