Moong Dal Kheer Moong dal kheer is also known as pasi paruppu payasam which is very famous in south india.This is a very delicious kheer made out of moong dal or green gram(split skinned green gram). This is usually made during special occasions .Everyone in my home love this.This is very healthy and easy to do.This is not like the one which takes more time, lots of ingredients and skills.So let's start cooking!!!!.... Category: sweets ; desserts Prep Time:5 mins Cooking time:15 mins INGREDIENTS 1 cup moong dal 2 cup jaggery cardamom powder  grated cashews /raisins  Ghee METHOD Roast moong dal in a pan until they turn golden brown. In a cooker boil these roasted dal.Fill water until the dal is  submerged.Cook them for about 6 whistles. Now to make jaggery syrup,add jaggery in a sauce pan and add some water. When the jaggery melts and caramelizes add cardamom powder,ghee and cooked dal. Mix them well. Switch off the flame in another 2mins.

Pomegranate milkshake The yummy milkshake that I do often.Even yesterday I did.This one is so simple and easy to make and tastes so yummy if you chill it for about 2 hrs in the freezer.you can make this as a thick shake by adding vanilla ice cream and fresh cream with the milk.Like 1 part milk and 1 part fresh cream.So Let's start making!!! Category:Healthy recipes Prep time:10 min Cooking time:nil INGREDIENTS 2 large Pomegranates 2 1/2 cup of milk 7-8 tablespoons of sugar-alter this according to your taste Vanilla ice cream -optional METHOD Cut the pomegranates and remove the arils (which are those juicy small fruit bearing white seeds inside). Take a juicer add the arils and beat them in to a thick pulpy extract. Now add sugar and milk. Beat them for about 2-3 minutes. Add ice creams to the shake and beat it once.This step is optional. Milkshake is ready.Add ice cubes and serve or keep it in the freezer and serve it later.

Vermicelli Milk kheer First of all wishing you a very happy new year.So on this new year's eve  i'm going to share  Vermicelli kheer recipe.Which  is my most favorite dish of all time.It was the first recipe I learnt to make and I still make them on all occasions.So let me tell you it is very simple and easy to make.It just takes 3-4 ingredients and few minutes but lasts forever in your heart๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜.Yeah so let's start making...
