Medhu pakoda or dumplings is one of the easiest tea time snack.This will taste awesome when it is consumed piping hot.These are deep fried dumplings that are made out of gram flour where the outer surface will be crispy and the inner part will be soft.So Let's start cooking!!

INGREDIENTS:


  • 2 cups besan flour or gram flour 
  • 1 onion
  • 1 or 2 green chilli(according to taste)
  • 1/2 tablespoon dalda/vanaspati
  • some Curry leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • salt as per taste
  • oil for frying

METHOD:
  • In a large mixing bowl mix gram flour,curry leaves,onion,green chilli,dalda,baking soda and salt.
  • Mix them well.
  • Now add water and mix them in to a loose dough consistency
  • Take a frying pan and heat the oil.
  • Now drop the watery dough in to the oil and deep fry in a medium flame until it becomes golden brown.Dumplings or medhu pakoda are ready to serve
Serve it hot with any sides as per your taste!!!
