I love french fries a lot but when I try it at home, it will be soggy or it just won't taste as good as in restaurants.And so found the best recipe that helped me to achieve this restaurant style french fries.Now I will share this simple homemade french fries recipe with you all.Do try it and let me know how it came for you(drop it in the comments below!).So Let's start Frying!!!!....

INGREDIENTS


  • 3-4 large potatoes
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying



METHOD

  • Peel of the potato skin and cut them in to julienne(long & thick strips).
  • Now put those julienne potatoes in to a bowl of water and soak it for 15 mins.
  • Take those potatoes out and pat dry with a cloth and  sprinkle some salt and rest it for 1 or 2 minutes.
  • Now batch wise fry them in the hot oil for 2 mins until the get a slight colour change.
  • Take them out and rest it for few minutes.
  • Now again fry them in the oil for 4-5 minutes.
  • Take them out and drain the oil
  • Sprinkle some salt .Your restaurant style french fries is ready!







Pro tip:After the first fry pat them with some paper towel before second time frying.
Heat the oil to around 130-135 degree celsius before frying the potatoes.
